Hello my name is Chase Silk and I'm from the coastal city of Durban, South Africa. I completed my degree in Jazz and Popular music in 2014 before moving to China.

I developed a passion for education during my final year of studies in the Honours music education course, realising educations vital role for a society's development as well as personal success.

I have always considered myself to be a self-actualiser, thus continually striving to be a better educator. Outside of education, I love music and its culture (i.e. my music degree), playing sport (terribly), traveling and experiencing foreign cultures, and many many more.

I am an outgoing and friendly person, shy at first, but I do love the company of my friends. I look forward to watching all my students grow into fluent English speakers and avid English learners.
